What Is This All About?

God desires to grow you, change you, and rearrange your priorities. He desires to develop the mind of Christ in you. If you are already a Christ-follower… that journey starts here. 

Col. 2:6-7 Read this passage… I placed some notes in parentheses:
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him (So let’s spend time with Him every day in prayer). Let your roots grow down into him (Daily Personal Bible Study will grow your roots into Christ), and let your lives be built on him (Memorizing scripture and meditating on it each week will build your life upon Him). Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness (it is that overflow that will show your friends and family God is changing you and He can change them too… this is why you must invest in others and invite them to come to church with you).

The Bottom Line is this: If I’m not full, I won’t overflow.
If we are not full of Christ, Christ won’t overflow from our lives. For this reason, we created The Power Pack (www.powerpackonline.com).

While you don’t have to use The Power Pack to follow Christ daily, it is a great tool that will help you. The Power Pack will help you grow to overflow.

Why not just attend a worship experience?
Investing time with God is important.
* It is important to God.
Romans 8:15-16 (NLT) So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when He adopted you as His own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For His Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.

He is our daddy and wants time with us.

* It is important to you.
John 15:5 (NLT) “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.

If all you do for your spiritual growth and for following Christ is attend a worship gathering on Sunday, you will never grow much. One hour a week “wears off” long before the week is over. That is why you need to spend time with God every day.

* It is important to others.
1 Timothy 1:16 (NLT) But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.
